SAGUARO THE DIP

Hailing from Seattle, The Dip is an electrifying seven-piece ensemble that melds vintage rhythm and blues with classic pop storytelling. With two albums out already (The Dip and The Dip Delivers), both of which feature vocals from frontman Tom Eddy, it's surprising that their new EP The Dip Plays It Cool is entirely instrumental, but we love it! 'Saguro' is the closing track of the EP, and to be honest, this new vocal-free approach really allows the instrumentation to take the head seat at the table. Vintage soul is still at the helm of the track, with jangly guitars, and emotive strings but this time round, the new voice is the violin and the saxophone that converse in a lively call and response. 'Saguro' is an uplifting closing track for the wonderful new EP The Dip Plays It Cool - check it out! -Ellie Rose-Davies
